NASHIK :
A 30-year-old farmer was electrocuted at Boartambe village in Igatpur taluka of the district, police said on Thursday.

According to the Igatpuri police, the police was informed that Vithoba alias Yogesh Mukund Navale (30) was working in his field in Titoli filed and the incident happened around 20.00 hours when he came to contact with Electric wire and died. His cousin brother Somnath Navale rushed him to a rural hospital in Igatpuri. However, he was declared dead.
Accidental death has been reported at Igatpuri police station in this regard. Further investigation into the incident was going on under the supervision of Police Inspector Ashok Ratnaparkhi.
