Stating that agriculture is among top govt priorities, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde asserted that the government is working in the larger interest of farmers and at the same time focusing on the welfare of the people. “Our government, which has come to power in the state, is working with the common man and farmers of the state as the focal point.” he said.
The Shri Samarth Marg organised world agriculture festival which has been going on for the last five days in Nashik was concluded in the presence of the Chief Minister. Shinde. The Chief Minister visited every stall at the festival and interacted with the stallholders.
Guardian Minister Dada Bhuse, MLAs Baban Lonikar, Sanjay Shirsath, Bharat Gogawale, Suhas Kande, Seema Hiray, MP Hemant Godse, Bhausaheb Chaudhary, Ajay Boraste and Bunty Tidme were present.
Addressing the farmers present, CM Shinde explained that this state belongs only to the people and we are running the government for their welfare. He said Shri Samarth Marg has guided and helped many farmers through its social commitment.
Adding modern technology to agriculture will bring more earnings to the farmers.
In this regard, farmers will be happier if they get proper guidance through many channels like this. Due to climate change, drought, and unseasonal rains, farmers are suffering huge losses. Shinde also explained that the government had given more help by following the recommendation of the NDRF.
This government belongs to every citizen in the state. he said adding that 6.90 lakh farmers who pay regular loans have benefitted. The government will always try to ensure that the farmers and the people get infrastructure facilities, he concluded.
