Baneshwar temple Nashik’s own Kedarnath

NASHIK: Shri Swarupeshwar Baneshwar Mahadev Temple has been constructed in the ashram of Shiv Shakti Gyanpith at Wadholi through Shrutisagar Ashram of Pune. The temple is located in the Anjaneri mountain range and has recently come to be known as ‘Pratikedarnath’. Currently, this temple is the main attraction for devotees.

The temple was inaugurated in 2014. The concept of the temple has come forward through Mataji Swami Sthitaprajyananda. The temple has been making headlines on social media for the past few days. The temple is situated on a four acre site in the Anjaneri mountain range. This temple has been set up in Trimbakeshwar after Pune to spread and propagate spirituality among the common people.

Vedas and Vedanta camps are conducted here every month by Shiv Shakti Gyanpith. Also many festivals like Mahashivaratri, Shravan, Gurupournima, Nitya Annadan are celebrated in the temple. The temple became so famous that it is forbidden to take photos or videos in this temple area. However, the photo of this temple went viral on social media and this temple has become famous as Kedarnath, informed Pandharinath Maharaj.

Devotees have been flocking to this temple for darshan. To reach this temple from Nashik, devotees can reach via Trimbak via Anjner Fata, Mulegaon Bari, Wadholi. Devotees from Mumbai, Pune and other cities are seen coming here.
