Nashik: The winter is slowly gripping Nashik district and North Maharashtra. After excessive rains received by the district, the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) is expecting that Nashik region will receive rainfall in isolated places. It is also expected that cold day to severe cold conditions will be experienced in some pockets of North Maharashtra.
The IMD in its weather forecast report has said that, in the next five days there is possibility of light drizzles on December 23 to 25, 2019. The maximum temperature staying in between 27-28 degree Celsius and minimum temperature will be between 11-13 degree Celsius.
The wind speed will remain between 3-5 km/ hr for the next five days. The conditions will otherwise remain dry. It has been also observed by the IMD that the night temperatures were markedly above normal in some parts of North Maharashtra, Marathwada and in Madhya Maharashtra.
The lowest minimum temperature so far has been recorded as 5.4°C at Bahraich (east Uttar Pradesh) in country, while in state the lowest minimum has been recorded as 10.6 degree Celsius on December 22.
