Massive fire breaks out in factory

Nashik: Massive fire broke out on Friday afternoon in Adima Chemical Private Ltd in the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) area at Musalgaon in Sinnar, Nashik. There were explosions in the factory due to the fire and a huge blaze engulfing the place, with thick smoke was seen there. As per primary estimate, the factory suffered losses worth lakhs of rupees. Fortunately, there was no casualty. At the time of fire, around 50-60 workers were working in the factory.
According to reports, the fire broke out in the afternoon at the Adima Chemical Private Ltd., located at the end of the road heading to Gulvanch from Musalgaon MIDC.  The intensity of the fire is such that the flames are visible from a distance of 10-15km. This led to panic and chaos among citizens in the area. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined. 
After getting the news, two fire tenders of Sinnar Nagar Parishad and MIDC reached the spot. Sinnar Taluka Cooperative Industrial Estate chairman Namkaran Aware, manager Kamlakar Pote and MIDC police inspector Yashwant Baviskar also reached the spot.  Firefighters had to take hard efforts to douse the raging flames. They succeeded in dousing the fire after nearly four to five hours.
Meanwhile, gas cylinders are manufactured in the nearby Super Fab Techno Private Ltd. Around 10-15 bigger cylinders have been kept there for gas welding purposes. It was feared that the fire could spread there. After seeing the fire, workers here ran immediately out of the company to save themselves. Later on company management took out the cylinders from there and a huge mishap was averted.
