Nashik: Calling the purported act of Fadnavis as treachery, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said Fadnavis and the BJP were ‘criminals’ of people of Maharashtra. If they did this, then they have no moral right to enter the state assembly.
He was on a private tour of Nashik district on Monday.

BJP MP Ananthkumar Hegde claimed that Devendra Fadnavis was made Chief Minister last month despite lacking majority only to ‘protect’ Rs 40,000 crore central funds from being ‘misused’. Raut replied to queries asked by mediaperson at government rest house.

Over allegations against former Chief Minister Fadnavis, he stated, “The charges by Hegade are serious. If Fadnavis rejects this, we believe him. If this had happened, BJP MPs should tender an apology. The financial condition of the state is very critical and debt of the state has been increased in last 5 years. Now, state government will take a proper decision about this.”

Over BJP leader and former Minister Pankaja Munde, MP Raut said, “We will know about Pankaja Munde’s stand on December 12.” He also claimed that many BJP leaders in the state are in touch with Shiv Sena.

Sharad Pawar raised doubt over usefulness of bullet train. A decision about this will be taken soon. It is right of Uddhav Thackery whether to give home ministry to Shiv Sena or NCP and when to expand state cabinet. There are no differences over the expansion of the cabinet, he informed.

Nashik: This year on August 22 the Central Human Resource Development Ministry announced National Initiative for School Teachers Head Holistic Advancement (NISTHHA). Under this programme the ministry has decided to train teacher so that the students will get skilled teachers.

The teacher teaching from class first to eight including the school principals and center heads will be given training. The orders about the same have been given by the ministry to the State Education Research and Training Council.
The training programme will be conducted at state, district as well as tehsil level.

The ministry has decided to train 42 lakh teacher under this initiative. It will include study completion, studies and analysis as per strengths, School security and safety, individual and social characteristics, health and yoga, kitchen garden and many such subjects will be handled.

For this initiative five best teacher from every district will be selected and they will be given a traing at state level. It will include two language expert, and each expert in science, mathematics and social sciences.  Teachers trained at state level will conduct workshops at Taluka level for other teachers.

The ministry has planned for the initiative at various levels. A panel of experts will be appointed to conduct te workshop and to solve the problems of teachers regarding NISTHHA.

Nashik: A total of 737 families of People with Disability in Nashik district got houses through the various schemes conducted by the social welfare department of Zilla Parishad. Followed by Pune and Raigad district, Nashik district is in the third position in spending fund for the disabled.

These families took benefit of the schemes in the last four years. Rs 1.32 lakh is given to each beneficiary to construct a house. A total of Rs 9.72 crore has been disbursed through the scheme. The district has around 25,000 disabled persons and of them, 12,600 are voters.

A total of 12,000 students are taking education. Information about beneficiaries of the housing scheme for the disabled has been filled up and has been sent to the district collectorate for the signature of the District Guardian Minister. However, it has been delayed over government formation.

A total of 5% fund has been reserved for the disabled in Zilla Parishad. Nashik Zilla Parishad received a fund of Rs 3.84 crore for the current financial year of 2019-20. Rs 50,000 will be given to two disabled persons as they got married. A grant of Rs 14,000 is also given for the purchase of flour mill.

A total of 15 beneficiaries have been selected for this and Rs 2.10 lakh will be spent on it. There is not enough money with disabled persons to buy artificial organs. Financial aid is given to them to purchase costly artificial organs. An artificial Jaipur foot of Rs 1 lakh each will be fitted with two disabled in the district.

About 2,000 students participate at World AIDS Day rally

Nashik: The District AIDS Prevention and Control Unit (DAPCU) organised an awareness rally for HIV and AIDS on the occasion of World AIDS Day. About 2,000 college students from across the district participated in the rally and spread the message of ‘Community Makes a Diffrence’, the theme of this year’s World AIDS Day.

Magmo Welfare, Pravara Medical Trust, Anusaya Education Trust, Manmilan Multipurpose Institute, Disha Women’s Institute, Project Vihan and 59 colleges of the district participated in the rally.  Nashik Zilla Parishad CEO Bhuwaneshwari S, Deputy Health Director Dr. Ratna Raokhande, district civil surgeon Dr. Suresh Jagdale, district health officer Vijay Dekate, additional district civil surgeon Dr. Nikhil Sendane, Matron and others were present on the occasion.

Dr. Jagdale said under the ‘Community Makes a Diffrence’ theme, that each and every individual should get involved in this movement against HIV-AIDS. The youngsters should take initiative in eradicating HIV-AIDS. The people should come forward and should give similar space in community to the HIV positive people.

Acceptance in the community is first and biggest step in the fight against HIV-AIDS, he said.  People who were working with DAPCU in spreading awareness about HIV were felicitated on the occasion. College students presented street plays on the occasion.
