NASHIK :
Twenty-five new patients in Nashik district have tested positive on Thursday, taking the pandemic tally to 1753. Among them, 22 are from Nashik city, while three are from rural parts of the district. On the other 59 patients have got cured of Covid-19. With this, the number of those recovered has increased to 1152.
Of the total reports received on Thursday, 22 patients have tested positive from Nashik city. With this, the tally of infected patients in the city has climbed to 532. Of the total positive patients, five are from Bharadwadi, four from Panchavati, two from Kalanagar and one each is from Deolali Camp, Samarthnagar, Phulenagar, Indiranagar, Kharjul farm area, Renukanagar and Hirawadi.
On the other three from rural parts of the district have tested positive. Among them, two are from Yeola and one is from Pachora. With this, the number of infected in rural parts has jumped to 289, while Malegaon has 862 patients. Meanwhile, seven patients succumbed to the disease on Thursday. As a result, the death toll of the district has reached 109.
