NASHIK :
Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has received a total of three complaints stating that private hospitals in the city are charging a additional bill from Coronavirus patients. To give attention to such hospitals, a committee has been formed under the Additional Municipal Commissioner. It will take action also, clarified Municipal Commissioner Radhakrishna Game.
If common people found Corona like symptoms they are rushing to district civil hospital or municipal hospital. On the other many are rushing to hospitals though they found minor symptoms. Those whose financial condition is good are taking treatment at private hospitals. Considering additional load on government hospitals, the government has fixed test and treatment charges for private hospitals. However, there are complaints that private hospitals are charging additional money from patients.
Game informed that he received three complaints about this. A committee which has been formed for this purpose will keep its attention to private hospitals. In case of a complaint, it will conduct an enquiry and will take action against the concerned private hospital if it gets sufficient proof, he added.
