MUMBAI :
Maharashtra on Tuesday registered 19 more deaths and a staggering 552 new Covid-19 cases, taking the toll due to infectious disease in the state to 251 and the number of positive ballooned to 5,218, officials said here.

Among the deaths, 12 were recorded in Mumbai. Till now, 151 people have died and 3,451 cases were found positive in Mumbai.
However, no new COVID-19 cases were reported in Latur, Osmanabad, Hingoli and Washim districts of Maharashtra in the last 14 days, officials in the Health Ministry said.
