A suspect COVID-19 patient was hospitalised and six members of his family were asked to observe home quarantine after much ado, police informed here on Saturday.

An anonymous person informed Tehsildar of Shindkehda village that the individual has recently returned from somewhere to the village.
The information was passed on to the police as well as medical personnel who subsequently went to the individual’s residence for taking him to the hospital for diagnosis.
However, his family stubbornly obstructed their path and relented after the police made them understand the seriousness of the matter. The suspect patient was finally admitted at the Bhausaheb Hirey Government Medical College, added police.
