Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has reserved 234 beds in private hospitals in the city having 30 or additional beds. It has reserved the beds considering the rising number of Covid-19 patients.

Taking into account the rising cases in state government has ordered to reserve 80% beds in all private hospitals and maternity homes. Accordingly, NMC administration last month instructed 550 hospitals and maternity homes in the city to keep 80% of beds ready.
Municipal Commissioner Radhakrishna Game had recently conducted meeting of IMA office-bearers. He had informed them that 80% of beds will be reserved in the upcoming period if needed and instructed to make preparations.
